Choosing the perfect first dance song

Choosing-the-perfect-first-dance-song

How do you choose the perfect first dance song?

Finding the place to start is quite easy. The first dance song should be one you and your partner like!!  One that brings back fond memories.

Now make a list of the songs that fit the bill. If there is a song that has the right lyrics and tempo then you may just have found the right one.

If Not ..!! Here’s the trick.. !!

Forget about who is singing it. Forget about the speed. Just concentrate on the words. Download the lyrics if you can’t quite make out what the singer is singing. Click here

Can you image the song sung at the right tempo for the occasion? Youtube is great for this and you will probably find lots of different cover versions of the song there. Search the song title and see if anyone has recorded it at a slower (or faster) tempo. This will give you an idea of how the song might sound..

Have a look through these first dances chosen by our brides  and played live at recent weddings.
